Participants will be introduced to the major events, themes and characters of the Hebrew Scriptures and to basic principles of Catholic Bible study.

Participants will explore the Church’s evolving understanding of itself as a hierarchally ordered communio of disciples in communion with one another and the Triune God, commissioned by Baptism to bring about the evangelization and transformation of the world.

One cannot easily exaggerate the importance of this great apostle and missionary for the New Testament or the Early Christian Community. His passion and compassion emerge in every word of his letters, and, just as he had a message for those first Christians, he also has a message for us. During the days of this workshop, we will be especially attentive to four Pauline themes: Conversion, the Cross, Community, and the Spirit. We will strive to come to know the man who came to know the Risen Lord, and we will pray that his fidelity and wisdom and conviction might also be ours. Course fee: $25.00. All are welcome.
